Description
Having the scientific name Panulirus Homarus, sand lobster can be found in Indonesian waters and the South Pacific region. Sand lobsters have a fairly good survival resistance, because they live in waters with a sandy character and have large waves.
Sand lobster was first discovered in 1804 by Latreille and commonly referred to as green lobster or green bamboo lobster. Sand lobsters have antennae on the kara[as with a hard shell to protect the inside of their body. The body of an adult sand lobster has a light green or bluish base color while a young sand lobster has a bluish or purple body. Sand lobsters can grow with a body length of up to 40 cm and have blue legs with white lines.
